I had the pleasure of modeling a beautiful light blue maternity gown from Pink Blush Maternity before my son was born. I had two weeks until our last little bundle of joy was born. We picked a beautiful but very hot and humid day on Thursday August 25, 2016 to take some maternity pictures. I had never taken maternity photos with our two other sons so I was excited to do it. It ended up being the craziest, most hectic day, which then turned into the scariest next two weeks of our life. We still had wet paint on the walls of the baby room, crib was ordered, but still not in and our toddler who was 15 months old ended up getting so sick that day. Little did my husband and I know what was about to happen the very next day. The very next day on Friday August 26, 2016, i went in for my last doctors appointment, and that’s when my Doctor told me I needed to have an emergency cesarean section because there was too much fluid around the baby. He was due on September 9, I had a scheduled delivery date on September 3, but I was having a baby on August 26. I was scared, shocked and completely unprepared.
