We went on our first family road trip as a family of five to Lego Land in Winter Haven, Florida. We met one of my best friends there with her son and boyfriend. It was about a six hour drive for us. Lego Land was pretty adorable with everything being made out of legos. The park was geared toward elementary school aged kids and toddlers. Each area was themed and had a lot of references from the movie, "The Lego Movie." This theme park use to be Cyrus Gardens. So it still has its beautiful botanical gardens. It also had a mini lego village that had a mini Las Vegas, NYC, Paris, Washington D.C., and lots others. Both the babies slept a good portion of the trip so that was awesome. Our oldest go to go on almost all of the rides. You can do every ride in one day and the lines weren't long. Even the Lego Hotel was all about building legos and lego themed rooms. We only had four outfit changes and six meltdowns. Bringing 2 babies under 2 years old to a theme park, I thought we did pretty good! It was a packed fun day filled with legos! We had a great time!
Have you ever been to Lego Land? Did you like it? Would you go back?
