I love October. I love the fall weather. Not too cold, not too hot, it’s just right. October has a lot of my favorite things. Bonfires with smores, fall colorful leaves, Halloween, my birthday, corn mazes and of course pumpkins. Although I think I am the only one who doesn’t like pumpkin spice coffee. Or any coffee for that matter. But I do love picking out pumpkins and carving them. Since it’s so hot in Florida, a lot of my pumpkins would rot before Halloween came. So last year I decided to carve a pineapple instead. It’s a lot easer than you think.
- cut bottom off pineapple
- cut out pineapple chunks inside
- put on a plate
- carve eyes
- carve mouth
- light candle
- place pineapple on top
And ta-da you’re done! I was definitely cool tonight when I showed my boys the finished product! Give a try!
